Marettimo brings you to the discovery of some of the most important botanical species that maintained their characteristic in the course of the millenia.

In Autumn the flourishing of the Erica Multiflora can be admired. The erica is a compact bush with nail-shaped leafs having a lenght ranking from six to eleven millimeters grouped in bunches of four or five.

The flowers have a lenght of about seven millimeters and goes out of the corolle.

This kind of Erica is probably the southerst one in Europe and can be find also in the isles of Pantelleria and Malta.
